| A four-piece
blues band based in Central Mississippi, whose motto is "the blues,
the whole blues, and nothing but the blues." That's a slogan that
rings true, as evidenced by their undiluted straight-ahead blues. With influences such as Freddy King, T-Bone Walker, Duane Allman and Steve Blailock, the Juvenators have growing body of pure-form original material.. Virgil Brawley (top right)(on Guitar and lead vocals) and Byrd Lovell (top left)(lead guitar and vocals) began playing in the 60's, drawing on the blues they grew up with. Guy Wade (top center) is the ace in the hole on his three-piece drum set. Bassist George Vance (bottom) rounds out the group after having played with such artists as Sam Myers and the late Dwight T. Ross.
